A while back I heard Paul Boag talk about how websites should have persona’s while you design them. Although I don’t think is exactly what he had in mind, but I thought it made for a fun idea for a post. What I did was visit some of my favorite websites and pick out people that seemed as if they were real life incarnations of the website themselves.
What do you think?

Nearly spilled some liquid over the Google is Jesus one!
Very creative, great post.
Cameron Moll comparison is great!
Hahahahahaha very cute and nice post! Thank you
The best beside the obvious Jesus/Google is Andy Sowards as Zoro…So funny.
His person is actually the main character from the movie “The Spirit” because his website used to be just like the movie poster.
Cool post!
I’d see Google as less of Jesus and more of “Big Brother”
Ha! This is so good and Outlaw Design Blog is most definitely The Duke.
LOL! What an awesome idea and an even better post! Awesome job!

Thats the guy from the move the spirit. Your site used to look just like the movie poster.
See the poster…

@Andy: I may be mistaken, but I believe that is “The Spirit” from the latest Frank Miller film.
Great post, loved the Braveheart one.
Hah! That’s so awesome. I think your site and google are PERFECT.
Best thing I’ve seen for ages.
If you mean that google is a source of mythical information that confuses and misleads its conditioned masses, then yes, geezuz.
lol!
ahahha… fantastic Danny! Wonderful post!
Lovely Site design Bandito! I like this post… What did I like?
Jesu - Google
Bluemen - bidobama
Bond- Moll [Gangster Moll?]
KKK- Spoongraphics
Rgds..
Jesus = Google is brilliant!
Thanks for this post - I love the comparisons.
Google is most certainly NOT Jesus. Bad, bad bad. Google is the devil.
Other than that rather glaring mistake, cool list.
I can’t help but to be impressed by the connections of the personalities of these famous icons along the side of the actual website…
