As Im sure you noticed in my last video post, Im not exactly comfortable in front of the camera. But I really want to start doing video posts for you guys. In order to get more comfortable in front of the camera, I am doing a daily “video journal” for the next week or so.
So you are going to have to deal with my poor attempts at video journaling for the next few days. I’ll try to make some of them have compelling content.
Watch them. Dont watch them. I dont care.
Ask Me a Question
In order to make the process a little more interesting for you, I’d love to do some sort of Q&A. Feel free to ask me about business, working in Costa Rica, or whatever….

Yeah, one question - is it possible to live on like $1000 a month in Costa Rica? Because a lot of the web development jobs I see posted there don’t offer much more than that. Thanks!
Yeah, I agree with Eric. I’d like to know what the average cost for a 2 bedroom place out there would be.
Also, I’d love to know where to view a portfolio of designs you’ve done (unless I’m totally blind and miss a link somewhere lol)
I have a question:
What are your earliest memories of being interested in design?
For example, I remember being young (somewhere between 8-12 I think) and a friend and I used to redraw and create new logos for every team in the national hockey league. At the time, we did it because we really loved hockey and we liked to draw, but in reality this was my first exposure to graphic design. It’s funny to look back now and realize ten years later, I’d essentially be doing the same thing, but professionally.
I think it’s great that you’re wanting to get into the video blogging–pretty fun. Two little suggestions–don’t talk very close to whatever mic you’re using–creates some static . . . and maybe sit farther away from the camera because then people can focus on your face overall, rather than on specific facial features . . . Of course, that’s just my 2cents–:-)
I wish I could ask everyone this, especially designers. What are top 5 favorite web sites? (excluding your own of course)
Hope this video blogging/questions thing catches on, nice, personal touch.
I just tried to record a Q&A video but my crappy camera wont record anything over two minutes. Hopefully my new camera will be here soon and I can get these answered for you.
Don’t u use Quickbooks? I found you that way (thank goodness) by searching quickbooks for artists. ANyway I love you blog…
I have a question How do you enter a received
item if you are not using a purchase order. How do you list the shipping you
paid? FOr example I call Rio Grande and order a pack of bails….then pay by
debit card. WHen it comes in how do you record it and the shipping?
It’s just about to drive me crazy–this is the second year I have been using the
program but it is the little stuff that drives me crazy.
Thanks for any help!
I know this has nothing to do with your blog but thought I would throw it in there…just in case you could help!

My question is why you not shaved?
I disagree with the above remark. I think in these tough economic times we need to rethink our old ways of thinking. For more information visit http://www.alaskapersonalinjurylawyer.net
