If you haven’t already read todays post by Smashing Magazine, I recommend checking it out. Its cool a ton of really cool, high tech, gadgets that any designer is sure to drool over. My favorite is the Optimus keyboards. As awesome as they are, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to justify their costs. But, it dosent hurt to dream!
The post was filled with so many cool things, I decided to do my own research and came a cross a few cool things as well. There was a ton of stuff that just made me drool, but these the things I either though looked the coolest or had a really good idea behind them.

Belkin USB Laptop Alarm - Not only does this device lock your laptop, but it emits a car alarm like sound if the USB cable is disconnected.
Fire Safe Waterproof USB Drive - Backing up stuff on a portable hard drive is a great way to keep stuff safe. Only problem is, they offer little in way of protection from the elements. This badyboy on other hand, does.
n52te SpeedPad - Hybrid Gaming Keyboard - Im not really big into online gaming, but this thing just looks so cool I might have to start.
Cassette MP3 - Who needs an iPod when you could have one of these?
Ironkey Self-Destructing Thumb Drive - How very James Bond.
Tempo - Trash Can Hard Drive - Not exactly sure why you would want/need one of these, but the idea is fun.
