I have wanted to be a graphic designer since I got my first clipart program and dot matrix printer back in the day. I knew after I printed my first real “garage sale” flyer that this is what I wanted to do. As I grew older, the one thing that always caught my design eye was creative movie posters and box covers. Im not talking about the crappy movie posters that just shows faces of the big name celebs in a flick, but the really creative ones.
Below is a list of 50 of my favorite DVD covers and movie posters for TV and film.
Most of these pictures came from Movie Goods. If you like any of the posters here and want to buy them, I suggest checking their site out. They have a ton of great original posters and classic reprints.

Just last week I bought the Dark Knight poster at the top of this post of the Joker spelling “Why So Serious?” in blood. It’s awesome and one of the best posters I’ve ever seen. It’s good to see it made your list.
I agree, the Dark Knight has an amazing set of posters, there are 4 or 5 more of them. My personal favorite is Batmans face made out of Jokers poker cards. Way sick. Nice collection Danny
Nice movie poster collection, my favorite movie poster is Dracula “Love Never Dies”.
5 x Johny Depp. Weird
Yeah, someone has a Johnny Depp obsession. Although the posters do look amazing so maybe that is why. And the rest are brilliant too, lovely stuff!

There’s some good ones. But I don’t agree with most of them being stunning. But you are entitled to your opinion. And if you’re gonna make an ode to your favorite actor, at least call it what it is. And for the record, Tim Burton SUCKS!

I agree with alot of your choices. One I would add…The Star Wars Episode 1 poster, that simply shows young Anakin casting a shadow in the shape of Vader.I haven’t forgotten it since I first saw it.
Many of these are really plain, nothing special…There are much better ones. It looks to me like you may have just listed your movie collection

Thank you for a nice collection of colorful posters.
One of my favorite posters is for a classic 1970’s movie called the “Endless Summer.” My dad has had one of those framed in his office for as long as I can remember. Maybe you can find one of those and enjoy it, too.
