For some reason, trying to find blank t shirt and clothing templates is like looking for a needle in a haystack. With so many t-shirt companies poping up on the internet you would think these would be easy to find.

Unfortunately they are not.

Lucky for you, you found this post.

I have put together a decent list of free and paid t shirt templates. I included paid templates inthis list because I think you will see that they are worth it. For about $10 bucks you can save yourself hours of searching and probably get a better product.

Feel free to add links to any other blank t shirt templates in the comments.

You are right, it is like finding a needle in a haystack… I was only doing it yesterday.

You missed the most obvious (and I think best) option, which is GoMedia’s new T-shirt template set. They’re a bit more expensive, but the final product is by FAR superior to any other option I’ve found. http://gomedia.us/arsenal/morestuff.php

You are also missing what you probably already have. AI has templates that come with the program, just look through those files and more than likely you will find that there is a tshirt design in there. My template happened to be in: AI > Cool Extras > Templates > Inspiration > Band > T-Shirt.ait There is no back to it, so if you want the back, you would have to alter the file, but it is a good start. (aside from all the great options you just posted.) Thanks again.

On several occasions I have tried on my blog item of the illustrations of shirts, to serve as models to design our own. I leave you some links to such material that I have compiled the following sites (free): VECTEEZY, DEZIGNUS and VECTOR4FREE

I hope it will be useful, a greeting. Forgive my bad English.

You’re absolutely right. I can’t remember the number of hours I’ve spent searching for a decent template, so I created my own and uploaded it to deviantart here: OllieJ’s Tshirt Template.

It’s a PSD file complete with clipping mask and an adjustment layer to change the color of the shirt.

I can’t believe how popular t-shirt design sites are. There are a lot of very talented t-shirt designers having fun online. Keep it up.
