Who: The Feed Editor program is a product of Extralabs Software. They create a variety of software, mainly dealing with RSS Editor other RSS technology. Extralabs Software is a small independently owned software company that was founded in 2001.

What: Feed Editor is a RSS Creator that allows you to edit and create RSS feeds from your desktop via the Feed Creator program. According to the company, Feed Editor allows you to create professional RSS feeds with the complication of understanding RSS or how it works.

The Feed Editor has a built in wizard to help users setup their first RSS feed in hopes to make the whole process dummy proof. Maybe Im less internet savvy than I thought I was, but after I went though the wizard, I didn’t know what I was supposed to do next. I hate to think of the frustration a less competent user would feel.

Why: I suppose this product could be good for the less savvy internet user. Perhaps for those who don’t know about CMS like Wordpress or are just to overwhelmed when it comes to thing that involve words like HTML and CSS.

Final Thoughts
Having been using Wordpress for so long now I can’t understand why anyone would use anything else to produce RSS based content. Can you think of any situations this software would come in handy?
