Im working on adding some more free resources to the site. You can see some of my recent free resources in these posts; Pre Design Questionnaire, Free Grunge Brushes, and Follow Up Email.
I was wondering what type of resources you would like to see more of? Would you like more forms, contracts, etc? Or more application resources like photoshop brushes, gimp stuff, etc? Or maybe free fonts?
Let me know some details about that kind of stuff you want and I will make it happen!

Grungy stuff will do it for me
I’m not sure this can be considered as a resource, but I feel a big lack of web oriented artistic tutorials.
I mean : there’s a lot of blog stuffs like “how to do this effect”, “what design method to have”, “sources of inspiration”, “actual trends”, but what about the very basic artistic technics that get us in a deep understanding of design?
I have added you to my RSS aggregator as I find you have impeccable taste and an interesting point of view as a freelancer. I am a writer, and though we don’t operate in the same field, we do operate as creatives in service, and find your articles in dealing with non-creative professionals illuminating (I’ve forwarded your article on “fight club rules…” to several other writers who are struggling to make that the transition into professional ranks.
That said, I LOVE when you choose fonts, I scour the web for good collections of fonts, and am always disappointed, but you have consistently pointed me to excellent collections. Perhaps you can continue to expose other genres of font collections (Foreign, alien, ancient texts, block pressed…) for those of us who don’t have the pulse of the design community.
Thanks again, and congrats, you have an excellent blog.

what kind of basics did you have in mind?
Well, I thought about those fundamentals taught in art school like lines, shapes, colors, and light, but focused on the web.
I think that skilled designers may have an understanding of the specificity of a web design that go further than layouts, whitespaces and gradients like we are often said. Some tutorial about the soul of a webpage, in a way
hmm…sounds interesting. I’ll see what I can do.
hmmm.. i like more photoshop applications..
I cannot find a good resource anywhere for Calls-to-Action. I would love to see a comprehensive CTA resource.
hello,
hope your system uses comment moderation: you shouldn’t let this one go live, as it contains only a few ‘constructive’ remarks concerning your blog yet unrelated to this post.
first of all, it’s a rather promising and interesting design blog - that is why i don’t understand why you don’t correct such points as the bad kerning of the A-W in your header image, the badly cut and designed “adv” boxes at the bottom of your central column or the repeating “about” items in your footer… as someone who intends to blog about design professionally, you, i think, should pay attention to such details. or, in the unlikely case that they are not bugs but features, should explain the reasons for their existence somewhere on your landing page.
all the best,
