Nice compilation, these lists are uber helpful for those of us trying to bring the tremendous value of social networking to companies resistant to new and relatively unproven marketing channels!

Forgive me, but I continue to find it amazing that people need so much help and advice to learn how to type 140 characters in a box. In that regard, I offer an alternative viewpoint to all the “Here’s How To Twitter” guides in my essay, “Steal This Twitter: An Un-Guide for New Users,” at http://pfunn.com/?p=439.

Number 26 is the crap that adds spam to the great network. Just my opinion but it is getting overused to the point of making great communication tool into spam machine.

Bradley, Thanks for including two of my posts in your list of essential tutorials. You are encouraging me to complete another post that is still a draft. It’s based on an in-person twitter tutorial for a friend. He thought a blog post was a good idea. http://www.twitter.com/fairminder

I did a writeup a couple days ago on how to use twitter to engage in real, dynamic dialogue with others instead of just being a spam recipient and redirector.

The basic focus is on how to build a following while still blocking most of the autobots, if you’ll pardon the unintentional Transformers reference.

I’ve always been a little suspicious of twitter, wondering whether its just a fad or whatever. Maybe I’ll decide after I’ve looked at some of these…
